Artists working together to complete one piece is highly unconventional. We are fortunate that our values are focused on the final piece, so we use our distinct strengths to build the art and take it to where we want to go.

We are two artists with different styles and subject matter interests, who look and react to nature's images with a similar humorous vision. Our indiviual work is a journey in self expression fueled by the images in our heads. The work we do together is about sharing the fun, energy and humor we both find in life. We are able to create this deliberate exaggeration of the objects personality which drives the title of the final piece. We show the viewer a new perspective for looking at the subject.

We begin with Natalie blocking in the initial color impression then Stephanie steps in to add the linear structure to the color. Instinctively we begin working together, dancing around the paper, sharing pastels and working in tandem until with almost a telepathic connection verbalize at the same moment, "It's done, don't touch it, let's sign it!"
